Simple Ways To Keep Your Heart Healthy
There is new research that proves a connection between calcium intake and lower blood pressure. The science shows that calcium may make the body eliminate more sodium and, therefore, reduces blood pressure. Dairy foods are a great source of calcium, and also rich in potassium. One cup of milk provides about 366 mg of potassium, and potassium plays a role in reducing blood pressure too. Let Crowley show you ways to help your heart during American Heart Health Month!
Reducing saturated fat intake has been proven to reduce blood cholesterol levels, specifically in reducing ‘lousy’ cholesterol levels (otherwise known as LDL). The recipes and tips below provide ways to help your heart by moving to lower fat dairy foods.

Crowley & Blood Pressure
Nearly 65 millions Americans have high blood pressure. If you are one of them, I have good news! Kicking up your dairy intake aids in lowering blood pressure. A research study showed that of 5,880 university graduate students, over 27 months, there was a 50 percent reduction in the occurrence of high blood pressure among those with the highest consumption of lowfat dairy products compared to those who consumed the least lowfat dairy. The reason that dairy helps to reduce blood pressure is that it may make the body eliminate more sodium. Get started today, and kick up your dairy intake.
