More on the Science between Dairy and a Healthy Life.Style.
- Researchers examined the diets of men in South Wales and took into consideration factors like age, smoking habits, body fat, calorie intake, fat intake, and alcohol consumption. The study tracked a group of 665 men over 20 years and concluded that men who consume more milk had a reduced risk of stroke and a trend towards lower heart attack risk. [1]
- The American Journal of Nutrition (November 2005) highlighted a study that showed a 50 percent reduction in the occurrence of high blood pressure over the 27 months of the study. Of the 5,880 university graduate students, only 180 new cases of high blood pressure were identified. The reduction in the rate of high blood pressure was observed among those students with the highest consumption of lowfat dairy products. [2]
