A Behind the Scenes Look at Milk.

Did you know that Crowley Milk provides your body with a lot of essential nutrients? Check out all of the nutrients that are found in a serving of Crowley Milk..

Vitamin A plays a role in vision, growth, bone development, helps your skin, and helps your hair stay healthy.

Vitamin D is actually added to milk because it is a key player in the absorption of calcium and building strong bones and teeth. Interesting fact: your skin produces vitamin D when exposed to sun light!

Vitamin B-12 helps to form red blood cells and build genetic material used by cells.

Riboflavin (aka Vitamin B 2) is an essential player in energy production; it helps to combat damage to cells and your helps to maintain your vision too! Your body doesn't store much of this nutrient so it is important to replenish it routinely. Dairy foods like: cheese, cottage cheese, and milk are the best food sources of this vitamin!

Potassium is essential for maintaining fluid balance and maintaining normal blood pressure.

Niacin (aka B3) is a key player in the release of energy from carbohydrates, fats, and proteins! It also helps to maintain a normal appetite and digestion. Phosphorus is the second most abundant mineral in your body (second to calcium) and about 85% of phosphorus is stored in your bones and teeth. Checkout just a few of the ways it aid your body: it generates energy in cells and works with calcium to keep your bones strong.

Protein provides your body with the fuel to build and maintain body tissues, provides your body with energy, and is involved with the functioning of your immune system.

Serving Size: ¼ of recipe
Servings Per Recipe: 4
Calories Per Serving: 180

INGRIEDENTS
4 cups Crowley Lowfat Milk
2 cups orange sherbet

Add the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Serving Suggestion: Serve in a glass with a gummy worm!


Halloween Crowley Style
Serving Size: ¼ of recipe
Servings Per Recipe: 4
Calories Per Serving: 240

INGRIEDENTS
1 package of vanilla instant pudding mix
2 cups Crowley Lowfat Milk (for the pudding preparation)
15 gummy worms

1. Prepare the pudding as directed.
2. Before serving stir in the gummy worms!

Serving Suggestion: To cut down on the sugar content use sugar-free instant pudding mix.
